Daisies
Just a quick post. I did this card using Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge http://www.stamping411.blogspot.com/ as my inspiration, although I missed the border at the bottom until the card was put together. The 411 operators inspired me to get my daisies #2 die out last week, and it has seen quite a bit of use over the last week. My daughters just bridged from Daisy girl scouts to Brownies, so naturally their leader got a card with a daisy. I have used one of my favorite color combinations turquoise and white. I used a piece of Playdate DSP in turquoise, and lightly sponged the edges of the flower in yellow. My yellow is the retired crushed curry color, I am hoping to get my order with some daffodil delight ink soon. The center of the daisies have green glimmer brads, I am not sure if they are still available but I really liked them. I am participating in the Stamp Out Breast Cancer event with Lee Conrey and several other demonstrators on Saturday, so I am looking forward to a day of stamping. P.S. Just for the record this bow drove me crazy, I think I redid it four times.
